How does the Calciomen Method work?

After an initial getting-to-know-you telephone consultation, you expose to me your problems, needs, goals and anything you believe you need to improve as a Soccer Player (e.g. “I feel low strength,” “I perceive I am not explosive,” “I have difficulty playing a whole game”).
After that I provide you with a personalized training program that absolutely does NOT negatively affect your training with the team but rather complements it. Our collaborative relationship does not stop at the first phone call: in fact, you have the possibility to confront with me continuously through an always active Whatsapp service for any of your needs.
All this so that you do not feel the distance in any way, but unlike a trainer who is only available to you for the hours you train and you pay him, I am there for you H24 all week long.

How much time do I need to get the most out of myself?

Before I give you a precise answer, I would like to briefly explain the phases that each football player goes through during a football season:

  • Off Season = Corresponds to the summer break in activity, where you have a chance to prepare for the following season. It is a very comprehensive work where we prefer strength work and aerobic work

  • In Season = Corresponds to the current Championship season; in this period we work specifically focusing on your deficient points and completing the work done with the team without any risk of negative conditioning
  • Pause Season = Corresponds to an in-between period that usually coincides with the Christmas and Easter Holidays. During this period we carry out a short general strength booster to get you ready for the second and final part of the season

Our journey together does not only apply to the summer months of pre-season preparation.

In fact, each phase of the season has its own logic and its own specific programming, and my goal is to do right by you, to see that you have fun and get results in the short, medium and long term.

That is why I want to be upfront and blunt right away: if you are not willing to make a minimum of sacrifice for you, if you make thoughts like “I don’t play in MLS or the Premier League, what’s the point of me training like this,” my advice is not only to stop reading, but even to stop playing Soccer.

 

What kind of category of soccer players do you target?

I do not make category distinctions among the soccer players I coach, it is clear that I cannot expect from everyone the commitment of a Professional, because whether it is work, study or family, the time available within the day is limited.

What I want to see is passion and the desire to always improve, which for me are two cornerstones not only in soccer but also in life.

Calciomen is the Personalized Method, the training programs change from subject to subject, depending on the role on the field, but above all on the category: in fact, the training of a Soccer Player in Pro Players will not be the same as that of a Soccer Player playing in the in College or in High School.

While the former will have to work more and more specifically to complement what has already been done with the team, thus performing very focused training, the latter will have to do work that complements the training done with the team.
